Position: Land transportation transfer specialist

Nature of Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Dar es salaam

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate daily land transport transfer operations for cargo (Import and export goods)

2. Prepare all transit documents includes, bill of lading, custom clearance, appeal etc

3. Communicate with drivers, clients, and operations teams regarding schedules and transfer updates.

4. Monitor vehicle movements and ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.

5. Handle transport documentation, trip records, and reporting requirements accurately.

6. Resolve operational issues such as delays, route changes, or customer complaints professionally.

7. Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and meet safety standards.

8. Support cost control initiatives by optimizing routes and vehicle utilization.

9. Maintain strong relationships with transport vendors and service providers when applicable.

10. Ensure high standards of customer service during all transfer operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field.

2.    Minimum 2-years of experience in Import and export officer, border land transport coordinator, transfer operations, or related
